Dylan knows

Just one solitary mog to add for the time being but that's not to say they're not out there. At least five fresh feline faces have been spotted over the last few days but a lack of opportunity to stop and 'capture' means that they'll have to wait a little while longer for their stab at global interweb fame.

Streetmogs name:
Actual name: Dylan
Favourite Location: Various gardens, leading to home
Preferred stroke: Head tickle
Character: Smart ass
Other: I saw Dylan at about no. 92 and fussed over him (and discovered his real name) for a little while before he hopped across into the next garden...and the next...and the next. After a few doors I decided he was in pursuit. At no.104, where I had to knock to hand over a packet, he shot through the door as it was opened; my theory is that this chap knew that I would end up at his house, which could be his chance at warmdom. A smart mog indeed. Oh, and what a beauty.

  1. Thank you so much for doing this - it's brilliant! Cheers me up and you take great pics of the mogs, in their 'natural settings' as it were. I'm in Scotland, never been to Wimbledon, but this is great.
    Thanks
Plus it saves me getting a cat - I can live vicariously through your travels!

    1. Hey, thanks so much! It's great to know people are reading and enjoying this. I'd swap Surrey for Scotland any day but Wimbledon is a lovely place...

  4. Hi - just found your blog this morning on msnuk/metro; think it's great fun. Love the descriptions and pics. My cat also greeted the postman at my old house and they became great pals. Nice to think somebody's happily bilmbling about out there enjoying their job and the company of cats, keep on catting! Have a great day. Liz x

  7. This is amazing. What a fabulous blog. We have re-named your blogspot "Mogspot"
We recently lost our kitty "Tilly" just before her 1st Birthday. Would it be possible to request the next all Black Kitten with Amber eyes be called Tilly in her honour? (obviously if there has not been a Tilly before her)

    1. Hey. What a lovely idea and I'd be happy to name a new streetmog after your Tilly. When I find a black kitten, consider it done. I did meet an all-black cat today with green eyes...as yet un-blogged and with no name

  10. Your blog is brilliant, keep up the great work! I heard about it in the Evening Standard today, the pictures are lovely and your comments on each moggy are so well-observed and charming. I unfortunately don't have a cat so I'll live vicariously through your blog!

  11. Absolutely brilliant, so pleased my partner found your blog! Made my day. We have our own version of Beauty - Hestia (a British Bombay) , and Spikey the Pikey a tiny diluted tortoiseshell (naughty tortie) in shades of grey, pale ginger and white, who from a distance has a dark grey Racoon bandit mask! As well she might, as despite being neutered, she still has 'gentleman callers', much to the disgust of Hestia, who is appalled by her housemate being such a hussy! We look forward to seeing many more of your beautiful feline encounters.
